Can an AI shopping agent actually read your catalogue?

When a shopper asks an assistant to find a product, the assistant reads your public product feed — not your storefront. If the feed can't answer the question, your product never makes the shortlist.

What that looks like in practice

84% of stores in the panel have product descriptions with no specifications in them at all. One store describes a product this way:

“The same best-selling swim trunks you love, now with a shorter inseam.”

Shorter than what? A shopper asking an assistant for a 7-inch inseam gets nothing back, because the number isn't in the feed. The copy is good — it's written for a human who can see the photo, and it fails completely for the reader that increasingly matters.

The same store sets a product category on none of its products. Category is usually the first filter an assistant applies, before it reads anything else.

One-off. Enter your domain at checkout; the report lands within 24 hours. No app install, no admin access. If you score above 90 and there's nothing worth fixing, you get a full refund — we'd rather tell you that than sell you a report.

What this isn't

We measure your public product feed — the same data an assistant reads. We can't see your admin, metafields, or private PIM, so anything living only there is counted neither for nor against you.

Nobody can promise you placement in any assistant's results, and we don't. The score is a directional rubric, not an official standard. What it tells you is narrower and more useful: exactly which questions your feed currently can't answer.
